Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ZWSoccer collects, why, and what choices you have. In short: we collect the minimum needed to run your subscription, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• Your phone number — the EcoCash number you subscribe with, which is also your login username.
• Your PIN — stored only as a secure one-way hash, never in a form we (or anyone) can read back.
• Payment records — the reference, amount, and status of your EcoCash payments, so we can activate and support your subscription.
• Your in-app preferences — the leagues and favourite teams you choose, so the app can tailor fixtures and send kickoff reminders.
• Notification details — if you enable push reminders, the technical subscription your browser provides so we can deliver them.

That's the extent of it. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, or browsing activity outside the app.

How we use it

Your information is used only to run the service: to sign you in, activate and renew your subscription, tailor the app to the leagues and teams you pick, send the reminders you've asked for, and provide support when you contact us.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not show third-party adverts in the app. We do not use your data for tracking you across other websites.

Who we share it with

We share only what's necessary with the services that make ZWSoccer work: EcoCash / Paynow to process payments, and Sportmonks for football data (which involves no personal data about you). We may disclose information if required by law.

How it's stored

Your data is held on our hosting infrastructure and protected with reasonable technical measures. PINs are hashed, and payment processing is handled by the payment provider — we never see or store your EcoCash PIN.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and payment records for as long as your account exists and as needed for legitimate business and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time.

Your choices

• Turn kickoff reminders on or off any time from the Account page.
• Change your league and team preferences whenever you like.
• Request access to, or deletion of, your personal data by emailing us.

Children

ZWSoccer is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
