🚨 Highlanders appoint interim leadership after tragic loss of three ExCo members
26 July 2026, 06:26
📝 THE FULL PICTURE:
Highlanders FC had to act fast after the heartbreaking deaths of chairman Retired Colonel Kenneth Mhlophe, vice-chairman Sifiso Siziba, and finance executive Nkani Khoza. An emergency board meeting chaired by Luke Mnkandla put Kindman Ndlovu in as acting chairman, with Morgen Dube stepping up too. Board member Elkanah Dube takes over administration, and secretary Matthew Sibindi handles finances. The club says these moves are temporary to keep things running smoothly during mourning. Permanent replacements will come later following the club’s constitution.
💭 MY TAKE:
This is a devastating blow for Bosso, losing three key leaders at once. Respect to the board for moving quickly to stabilize the ship during a nightmare period. The constitution will decide the long-term guys, but for now, the focus is on healing. Tough times, but the club’s structure is holding up. Let's go, Highlanders - stay strong.
